“How to Die in Oregon” follows several terminally ill Oregon residents who take advantage of Oregon’s Death with Dignity medical aid-in-dying law. The award-winning film also follows the 2008 campaign to establish this option in the state of Washington. Currently ten jurisdictions in the United States allow medical aid in dying: California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Montana, New Jersey, Oregon, Vermont, Washington, and the District of Columbia.
